SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 533.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Frederick County to levy annually the sum of $900, to be
paid to the Independent Hose Company of Frederick, the
Junior Steam Fire Engine Company of Frederick, the
United Steam Fire Engine Company of Frederick, the
Brunswick Volunteer Fire Engine Company of Brunswick,
the "Vigilant Hose Company of Emmitsburg, and the Guar-
dian Hose Company of Thurmont, the said sum of $900 to
be used by the said Companies for their maintenance and
support.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Frederick Coun-
ty be and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy on
the assessable property of Frederick County for the year 1910
and annually thereafter the sum of $900 to be paid on or before
the first day of January, 1917, and annually thereafter on or
before the first day of January in each and every year; $150 cf
said sum to the Treasurer of the Independent Hose Company of
Frederick, $150 of said sum to the Treasurer of the Junior
Steam Fire Engine Company of Frederick, $150 of said sum
to the Treasurer of the United Steam Fire Engine Company of
Frederick, $150 of said sum to the Treasurer of the Brunswick
Volunteer Fire Company of Brunswick, $150 of said sum to
the Treasurer of the Vigilant Hose Company of Emmitsburg,
and $150 of said sum to the Treasurer of the Guardian Hose
Company of Thurmont, the said sums to be applied by the
respective companies for their maintenance and support.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1916.
