SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1916..

CHAPTER 532.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 232 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland passed at the January Session in the
year 1902, entitled "An Act to require the County Commisi-
sioners of Talbot County to pay annually to the Commis-
sioners of the Town of Oxford in said County, a portion of
the tax levied upon the property within the limits of the
Town of Oxford" and to re-enact the same so as to read as
follows:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 232 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland passed at the January session in the year
1902, entitled "An Act to require the County Commissioners
of Talbot County to pay annually to the Commissioners of the
town of Oxford in said County, a portion of the tax levied upon
the property within the limits of the town of Oxford, " be and
the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Talbot County shall pay annually to the Commissioners of
the town of Oxford in Talbot County, out of the County taxes
levied upon the property within the limits of the town of Ox-
ford, such sum of money, not exceeding the sum of Three Hun-
dred and Fifty ($350. 00) Dollars, as may have been expended
by the Commissioners of the said town of Oxford for the repair
and maintenance of the road bed of the streets of said town;
provided, that the sum of money so required to be paid to the
Commissioners of said town of Oxford shall not exceed in any
one year the sum actually used and expended by the said Com-
missioners of Oxford upon the road bed of said streets; and
provided further that no money shall be paid hereunder until
and unless the Commissioners of the town of Oxford shall, on
or before December 31, of each year file with the Commis-
sioners of Talbot County, an itemized statement with vouchers,
showing the actual amount of money so used and expended by
the Commissioners of the town of Oxford upon the road bed
of the streets of said town.
