nearer than two miles in all directions from the District of
Columbia line.

SEC 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 544.

AN ACT to regulate the granting of permits for the erection of
buildings in the first, second, third, ninth, twelfth, thirteenth
and fourteenth election districts of Baltimore County; to re-
quire the owner of any building to be erected to provide suit-
able facilities for disposing of the drainage, waste and sewage
from such buildings, and to submit plans of arrangement pro-
vided for such purpose for the inspection and approval of the
Inspector of Buildings in said district and the Secretary of
the Local Board of Health of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, . That no permit for the construction or erection of any
building or structure of any kind in the first, second, third,
ninth, twelfth, thirteenth or fourteenth election districts of
Baltimore County shall be granted unless adequate provision
is made for disposing of the waste, sewage and drainage from
such building or structure, and plans thereof presented for the
inspection of the Building Inspector in the district in which
such building or structure is to be erected and the Secretary of
the Local Board of Health of Baltimore County and approved
by them.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That in all buildings so
erected provision shall be made for disposing of the waste, sew-
age and drainage therefrom in accordance with the plans fur-
nished as required by Section One of this Act, and such arrange-
ments shall be installed under the supervision of the Inspector
of Buildings of the district in which such building is erected.

SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore County shall have the power and authority,
and the same is hereby expressly delegated to them, of adopt-
ing all necessary rules, regulations and orders for insuring
adequate provision for disposing of the drainage, sewage and
waste from such building, so as to protect the public health, and
