in addition to the other information required by law a state-
ment that the applicant is a registered voter in and a taxpayer
and resident of the election district of which he claims to be a
registered voter, and any person whose nomination shall be so
certified shall be placed on the ballot at the ensuing general elec-
tion as a candidate for the office of County Commissioner of
Baltimore County. At the next ensuing general election at
which County Commissioners are to be elected and every four
years thereafter the Board of Supervisors of Election shall
place on the general ticket to be voted for by the qualified vot-
ers of Baltimore County the names of all persons so nominated
for the office of County Commissioner of Baltimore County, and
the five candidates for said office who shall at any such election
receive the highest number of votes cast for candidates for said
office shall be returned and become County Commissioners of
Baltimore County.
65-B. Baltimore County is hereby divided into five dis-
tricts to be know as "Commissioner Districts," said districts
to be as follows: The first, second and thirteenth election dis-
tricts of Baltimore County shall constitute and be "Commis-
sioner District No. 1" of said County; the third, fourth and
eighth election districts of Baltimore County shall constitute
and be "Commissioner District No. 2" of said County; the
fifth, sixth, seventh and tenth election districts of said County
shall constitute and be "Commissioner District No. 3" of said
County; the ninth, eleventh and fourteenth election districts
of Baltimore County shall constitute and be "Commissioner
District No. 4" of said County; and the twelfth and fifteenth
election districts of Baltimore County shall constitute and be
"Commissioner District No. 5" of said County. Five persons,
who shall be residents, voters and taxpayers of Baltimore Coun-
ty, shall be elected by the qualified voters of Baltimore County,
and the five persons so elected shall compose and constitute the
Board of County Commissioners of Baltimore County. In the
event of a vacancy caused by death, resignation or otherwise,
the person appointed to serve as his successor shall be a regis-
tered voter; resident and taxpayer of Baltimore County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 336 of Ar-
ticle 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Baltimore County," sub-title "Roads," as repealed, enacted
and re-enacted by Chapter 495 of the Acts of 1908 and amended
by Chapter 317 of the Acts of 1910, be and the same is hereby
repealed.
