30th to September 1st, exclusive, of both dates or upon any
Sunday. Any person violating the provisions of this Section
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon cpnvictioa
thereof shall be fined $5.00 and costs and in default in payment
of said fine and costs committed to the Baltimore County Jail
for not longer than ten days.

SEC. 17-L. And be it further enacted, That no person shall
shoot, hurt, take, catch, kill, pursue, injure or have in posses-
sion in Baltimore County any raccoon or opossum from Febru-
ary twenty-eighth to October "1st, exclusive of both dates, or
when the ground is covered with snow so as they can be tracked.

SEC. 17-M. And be it further enacted, That no person or
persons shall set any trap, deadfall, putfall, snare, steel trap
or other device for the taking or trapping of wild animals
between the twentieth day of December and the tenth day of
November, inclusive, of both dates; provided, however, that the
Chief Game Warden of Baltimore County may issue to any per-
son or persons applying for the same a permit to set not more
than ten traps, deadfalls, snares, steel traps or other devices for
the purpose of taking, trapping, or catching minks, weasels, pole-
cat, skunk, raccoon, fox, muskrat, or opossum, which permit may
be revoked at any time by the said Chief Game Warden of Balti-
more County in his discretion. Any person violating the pro-
visions of this Section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction thereof shall be fined $5.00 and costs and
in default in payment of said fine and costs committed to the
Baltimore County Jail for not longer than ten days.

SEC. 17-N. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this
Act shall be construed to in any wise prevent the Chief Game
Warden of Baltimore County, the deputy game warden, or any
other person or persons from having the birds and game men-
tioned in "this Act in their possession during the closed season,
for purposes of propagation, provided such person or persons
shall first have secured from the Chief Game Warden of Balti-
more County, a written permission so to do.

SEC. 17-O. And be it further enacted, That it shall be un-
lawful for any person or persons to shoot, kill, trap, take, de-
stroy or have in possession more than ten partridges or quail,
two pheasants, or ruffed grouse, one English pheasant, one ring-
necked pheasant, ten doves, eight woodcock, twelve jack snipes,
six rabbits, one jack rabbit, eight squirrels, one wild turkey in
any one day, and it shall be unlawful for any person to shoot,
