SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 4.

AN ACT to authorize and require the County Commissioners of
Charles County to levy a sum of money to build three new
school houses in Charles County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Charles County, be
and they are hereby authorized and required to levy the sum
of two thousand ($2, 000. 00) dollars at their next annual levy
for the purpose of building three new school houses—one at
Glymount (white), one at Riverside (white) and one at Bel
Alton (colored), the said money to be paid to the School Com-
missioners of said Charles County, Maryland, for the said pur-
pose on or before the first day of November, 1914, for said
purpose.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved February 24, 1914.

CHAPTER 5.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 38 of
Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws, titled "Charles
County, sub-titled "Birds and Game, " as amended by
Chapter 382 of the Acts of 1894, and to repeal Section 14 of
Article 99 of the Code of Public General Laws in so far as
the same relates to Charles County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 38 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, titled "Charles County, " sub-titled "Birds and Game, "
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments so as to read as follows:

SEC. 38. It shall not be lawful for any persons to shoot or
in any manner catch, kill, trap, take or have in his or her pos-
session in Charles County any pheasant, partridge, rabbit, wood-
cock or squirrel between the 2nd day January and the 1st
