tions and ordinances; provided, however, that the provisions
of this Act shall not apply to any food products which.have
been prepared, kept, sold or distributed, under the provisions
of any law heretofore or hereafter passed by the Congress of
the United States or by the State of Maryland.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 299.
AN ACT to repeal Section 9 of Chapter 117 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion, 1910, being an Act to provide for the building, grading
and construction of certain streets and roads within the limits
of the Town of Easton, and to provide for the issuing of bonds
to defray the expenses incident thereto, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
laud, That Section 9 of Chapter 117 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session of 1910,
entitled An Act to provide for the building, grading and con-
struction of certain streets and roads within the limits of the
Town of Easton, and to provide for the issuing of coupon bonds
to defray the expenses incident thereto, be and the same is here-
by repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That before the said streets, as
herein provided, shall be built or constructed it shall be the
duty of the Mayor and Council of Easton to complete the curbs
and gutters on both sides of said streets to be improved, and
sufficient funds will be appropriated out of the Easton Street
Improvement fund to defray the Town's portion of the expenses
incident thereto; provided, however, that the Mayor and Coun-
cil of Easton shall not be required to construct a curb and gut-
ter on the West side of Aurora Street from North Street North
to the Town limits.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
