The hereinafter named Committee shall receive, as their com-
pensation, their actual expenses while in the discharge of the
aforesaid duties.

The County Commissioners are hereby authorized, empow-
ered, directed and required to set aside at their annual levy in-
the year of 1915, the sum of eight thousand dollars ($8.000) and
as much more as they deem necessary, not exceeding the
sum of ten thousand dollars ($10.000), for purchasing said farm
and erecting all necessary buildings, and furnishing said
home and farm with all necessary furniture, stock, horses and
farming implements, as set forth in this Section. The Com-
mittee for locating and establishing said county home are as
follows: Isaac W. Abernathy, Wilson, W. Va.; J. W. McCul-
lough, Friendsville, Maryland; F. G. Fox, Friendsville, Mary-
land; C. W. Friend, Friendsville, Maryland; Scott T. Jones,
Oakland, Maryland; W. H. Smouse, Oakland, Maryland; David
Roth, Oakland, Maryland; Henry M. Speicher, Accident, Mary-
land; C. A. Bender, Grantsville, Maryland; Jacob Stump,
Bloomington, Maryland.

SEC. 2. The County Commissioners of Garrett County are
hereby authorized and empowered to have full control and gen-
eral supervision of the County Home of Garrett County. The
County Commissioners have the right to appoint a steward and
all other necessary officers for said County Home, and may pur-
chase all articles necessary for farming the land thereto at-
tached, and may levy from time to time on the assessable prop-
erty of the County such sums of money as shall be necessary
for the support of said County Home. The steward of the
County Home shall enter upon the performance of his duty
within ten days from the time of his appointment.

SEC. 3. The said County Commissioners shall have general
supervision over the said County Home' and ground thereto
attached and over the inmates thereof, and the manner of con-
ducting the affairs of such County Home, and the officers
thereof shall be subject to their control, said Commissioners
shall make a full report of the general condition of said County
Home at the end of each and every year, and at such time shall
also report the amount of money expended thereon during the
year, also a statement of the amount of money received from
the sale of grain, vegetables and all other sources, which sums of
money shall be paid to the County Treasurer for the use of
said County Home, which report shall be published for three-
