the Evening Times of Cumberland, Maryland, in payment of
the balance due for printing one thousand copies of the annual
report of the Mine Inspector to the first day of May, 1911, and
one thousand copies of his report to the first day of May, 1912,
and for a deficit in printing his report to May 1st, 1910, which
expenses the Mine Inspector is required to incur by the pro-
visions of Chapter 124, of the Acts of 1912, and provided for
in said Act, but for which no appropriation is made.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 275.
AN ACT to provide for the construction of new school buildings,
for additions to school buildings, and for the purchase of
such property as may be needed for school purposes in Balti-
more . County and to authorize the County Commissioners of
Baltimore County to issue bonds in an amount not exceeding
$500,000 to defray the cost of same, and to provide for an
election at which the voters of Baltimore County' can vote
upon the question as to whether such bonds shall be issued;
and to provide the means and manner of paying such bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County School Commissioners of Balti-
more County is hereby authorized to build such new school
buildings or additions to school buildings, and to acquire such
property in Baltimore County for the use of the schools of said
County as may be needed, and to expend in the construction of
said buildings and purchase of said property not more than five
hundred thousand dollars.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That for the purpose of pro-
viding a fund for the construction of said buildings and the
purchase of said property, the County Commissioners of Balti-
more County are authorized to borrow on the credit of Balti-
more County, and as evidence of said loan to sell and issue serial
coupon bonds to the amount of five hundred thousand dollars
in the manner hereinafter prescribed, provided such loan be
approved by a majority of the qualified voters of Baltimore
County voting upon the question at the election hereinafter
provided for.
