CHAPTER 272.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 222 and 227 of Article 20 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, of Maryland, title '' Somerset County,''
sub-title '' Revenue and Taxes,'' as amended by Chapter 10 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, for 1910, relat-
ing to the appointment of County Treasurer and Clerk to the
County Commissioners and Collector of State and County
Taxes for Somerset County, and to-enact said Sections 222 and
227, with amendments.

CHAPTER 273.

AN ACT making appropriation for printing official blanks for
the Mine Inspector, and for his other expenses required by
Chapter 124 of the Acts of 1902.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to draw his warrant on the Treasurer for $442.42 in
favor of William Walters, Mine Inspector, for the cost of print-
ing his official blanks and for other necessary expenses in con-
nection with testing the accuracy of the scales and inspecting
the several mines from the first day of May, 1912, to the first
day of May, 1914. Expenses which the Mine Inspector is re-
quired to incur by the provisions of Sections 197, 202, 209-N
of said Chapter 124 of the Acts of 1902 and provided for by
said Act, but for which no appripration is made.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act will take effect on the
day of its passage.

Approved April 2d, 1914.

CHAPTER 274.

AN ACT making appropriation for printing the Annual Re-
ports of the Mine Inspector as required by Chapter 124, of
the Acts of 1902.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to draw his warrant on the Treasurer for Three Hun-
dred and Eighty-five Dollars Seventy-seven Cents, in favor of
