said Article, and to be known as Section 2-A, and to read as
follows:
SEC. 2-A. All the provisions of this Article relating to public
roods or roads shall be applicable to streets, lanes and alleys in
unincorporated towns and villages.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 231.
AN ACT to add two new additional Sections to Article 35 of the
Code of Public General Laws of 1904 of the State of Mary-
land, title "Evidence," to immediately follow Section 60 of
said Article of said Code of 1904, codified as Section 67 of
Article 35 of Bagby's Annotated Code of 1911 of the Public
General Laws of the State of Maryland, and to be known as
Sections 68 and 69 of Article 35 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of 1911 of the State of Maryland, title "Evidence,"
and to be preceded by the caption "Printed and Attested
Copies of Public General and Public Local Laws as Evidence.

CHAPTER 232.
AN ACT to prohibit the taking and catching of oysters for sale
in certain waters of Calvert County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for any person to take or catch
oysters for sale with rakes, tongs or any other instruments
whatsoever in the waters of Mill Creek, Back Creek, or St.
John's Creek, in Calvert County, except from lands in said
waters located and appropriated or which may hereafter be lo-
cated and appropriated by virtue of any Act or Acts oi the
General Assembly of Maryland, authorizing the location and
appropriation thereof for the purpose of protecting, deposit-
ing, bedding or sowing oysters.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person violating the
provisions of the preceding Section shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction before a Justice of the
