P«ace or the Circuit Court for Calvert 'County, shall pay a fine
oi not leas than twenty dollars nor more than fifty dollars for
each and every offense, and shall stand committed to the County
Jail until fine and costs are fully paid; one-half of all fines Un-
der this Act to be paid to the informer and one-half to be paid
to the School Commissioners of Calvert County for the benefit
of the public schools therein.

SEO. 3. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of this Act
a line drawn from the steamboat wharf at Solomon's Island
and running in a northeasterly direction to lower Ship Point,
on Rousby Hall farm, shall be the dividing line between the
mouth of Mill Creek and the Patuxent River.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 1st, 1914.

CHAPTER 233.

AN ACT to repeal Section 225 and Section 226 of Article 22 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washing-
ton County," sub-title "Hancock," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 225 and Section 226 of Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County,"
sub-title "Hancock," be and the same are hereby repealed and

re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:

SEC. 225. The registered voters of the State of Maryland and
County of Washington, who have resided within the corporate
limits of the Town of Hancock for twelve months next preceding
the election, shall elect by ballot on the first Monday in April,
in the year 1915, and upon the same day in every year there-
after, a person not under twenty-five years of age, a citizen of
the United States and a registered voter of the State of Mary-
land, and the County of Washington, and a resident of said
town for two years next preceding the election, to be Burgess
of said town, and at the same time and in the same manner
there shall also be elected three persons, having the same quali-
fications herein prescribed for the office of Burgess, to be Com-
missioners of Hancock, and also one person of like qualifica-
tions to be Assistant Burgess. The Burgess, Assistant Burgess
