CHAPTER 228.
AN ACT to appropriate the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000)
to complete the payments due for buildings constructed for
the use of State Normal School No. 3, for colored students,
now known as the Maryland Normal and Industrial School,
and located near the town of Bowie in Prince George's
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer of the
State in favor of the Treasurer of the State Board of Eduction
for the sum of five thousand ($5,000) dollars,same to be paid out
of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated and
applied to the final payment of that amount still remaining un-
paid for the construction of buildings for State Normal School
No. 3, near the town of Bowie, and now known as the Mary-
land Normal and Industrial School.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 229.
AN ACT to reimburse Josiah A. Ramsburg, of Frederick County,
for trees destroyed, and appropriating a sum of money there-
for.

CHAPTER 230.
AN ACT to amend Article Twenty-five of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "County Commissioners,"
sub-title "General Provisions," by adding an additional Sec-
tion thereto to follow Section 2 of said Article, and to be
known as Section 2-A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article Twenty-five of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title "County Commissioners," sub-title
"General Provisions," be and the same is hereby amended by
adding an additional Section thereto, to follow Section 2 of
