the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1894; the
Public Local Law, enacted in Chapter 165 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1906; and the Public Gen-
eral Law, enacted in Chapter 434, Section 2, of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1910; it appears that the
Clerks of the Circuit Court for Talbot County have paid in the
years 1894-1895 to 1909-1910, certain moneys, which amounts
were certified to by the Comptroller of the Treasury of the State
of Maryland; and
WHEREAS, The said laws above referred to and the opinion
construing same apply with equal force to Queen Anne's
County; and
WHEREAS, The General Assembly of Maryland by Chapter
591, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland for the
year 1912, in pursuance of said opinion of the Court above re-
ferred to, refunded to the Board of County School Commis-
sioners of Talbot County the sum of Pour Thousand Nine Hun-
dred and Seventy-three Dollars and Nineteen Cents ($4,973.19);
and
WHEREAS, It appears that the Clerks of the Circuit Court for
Queen Anne's County have paid in the years 1894-1895 to 1909-
1910, inclusive, certain moneys, which have been certified to by
the Comptroller of the Treasury of the State of Maryland,
amounting to Two Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty-one Dol-
lars and Sixty-six Cents ($2,461.66); therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of the State of Maryland be and he is
hereby directed, upon the warrant of the Comptroller of the
State of Maryland therefor, which warrant the said Comptroller
is hereby authorized to draw, to pay out of any moneys in the
Treasury of the said State not otherwise appropriated to the
Board of County School Commissioners of Queen Anne's County
the sum of Two Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty-one Dol-
lars and Sixty-six Cents ($2,461.66) ; the same being fees from
tongers' licenses erroneously paid by the Clerks of the Circuit
Court for Queen Anne's County to the Comptroller of the
State of Maryland in the years 1894-1895 to 1909-1910, inclusive,
being the amount paid into the Treasury, the same having re-
ceived the approval of the officers of the Treasury.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
