ing to Two Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty-one Dollars and
Sixty-six Sents ($2,461.66); therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of the State of Maryland be and he ia
hereby directed, upon the warrant of the Comptroller of the
State of Maryland therefor, which warrant the said Comptroller
is hereby authorized to draw, to pay out of any moneys in the
Treasury of the said State not otherwise appropriated to the
Board of County School Commissioners of Kent County the sum
of Two Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty-one Dollars and
Sixty-six Cents ($2,461.66) ; the same being fees from tongers'
licenses erroneously paid by the Clerks of the Circuit Court for
Kent County to the Comptrollers of the State of Maryland in .the
years 1894-1895 to 1909-1910, inclusive, being the amount paid
into the Treasury, the same having received the approval of the
officers of the Treasury.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved March 30th, 1914.

CHAPTER 218.

AN ACT appropriating the sum of Two Thousand Four Hundred
and Sixty-one Dollars and Sixty-six Cents ($2,461.66), out of
any moneys in the Treasury of the State of Maryland not
otherwise appropriated, to refund to the Board of County
School Commissioners of Queen Anne's County, being certain
moneys which should have been paid to the Board of County
School Commissioners of Queen Anne's County, and which
were erroneously paid to the Comptroller of the Treasury of
the State of Maryland by the Clerks of the Circuit Court for
Queen Anne's County, from fees collected by the Clerks of the
Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County on account of tongers'
licenses issued by them in the years 1894-1895 to 1909-1910,
inclusive.

WHEREAS, In accordance with the opinion of the Circuit Court
for Talbot County in the cause in said Court of the Board of
County School Commissioners of Talbot County vs. Frances G.
Wrightson, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Talbot County, con-
struing the Public Local Law, enacted in Chapter 314, Section
3, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1894;
the Public General Law, enacted in Ckapter 380, Section 2, of
