day of January, 1915, and the said County Commissioners of
Dorchester County aboli give notice by advertisement inserted
ia two newspapers published in Dorchester County, once a
week, for at least three weeks prior to said election, of the time,
and places of said election and such advertisement so to be
published shall set out in full all the provisions of this Act.

CHAPTER 214.

AN ACT to provide for the construction of a sewer on High
Street, College Avenue and Cannon Street, and for the curb-
ing, paving and improvement of portions of High Street and
Cross Street, in Chestertown, Kent County, Maryland, and to
issue bonds to pay for same, and to levy an annual tax for
the payment of such bonds and the interest thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Commissioners of Chestertown be and they are
hereby authorized and empowered to issue bonds in the name
of the Commissioners of Chestertown to an amount not exceed-
ing twenty-five thousand dollars in sums not less than one hun-
dred dollars, nor more than one thousand dollars, to be signed
by the Commissioners of Chestertown under the corporate seal
of the said Commissioners, to be designated as "Chestertown
Street and Sewer Bonds,'' bearing interest at a rate to be fixed
by the Commissioners of Chestertown not exceeding five per
centum per annum, payable semi-annually on the first day of
July and the first day of January of each year, which bonds
shall be exempt from all County and municipal taxation in
Kent County and the due or overdue coupons for interest shall
be received by the Commissioners of Chestertown in payment
of town taxes. Said bonds shall bear date as of July 10th, 1914,
and be payable in sums of one thousand dollars in each of the
years beginning with the tenth day of July, 1919, and each
year thereafter until fully paid. Said bonds to be numbered
consecutively, and to be redeemed in the order in which they
are numbered. But said bonds shall be redeemable at the option
of said Commissioners after ten years from the date of the issue.

SEC. 2, And be it enacted, That said Commissioners of Ches-
tertown are authorized and directed to advertise at least once
a week for four successive weeks in the newspapers published
in Kent County and one newspaper published in the City of
