use of any ballot boxes, poll books, or other paraphernalia,
records, stationery or equipment now in their possession and
not in actual use for any other purpose; and they shall place
on the ballot to be voted at such election the proposition or
plan to borrow upon the credit of Baltimore County by an issue
of serial coupon bonds not to exceed in amount $1,000,000 for
the construction or establishment by purchase or otherwise a
sewerage system or systems for Baltimore County, and they
shall provide on said ballot a space in which shall be printed
in uniform type the words "For the Sewerage Loan" and
another space in which shall be printed in like form the words
"Against the Sewerage Loan," and the ballot shall be so ar-
ranged as to give the voter a clear and single method of
casting his vote either for or against the proposed loan accord-
ing to the election laws in force in Baltimore County; at the
close of the said polls the judges of election shall count the
ballots which have been cast and shall ascertain the number
of votes cast "For the Sewerage Loan" and the number of
votes cast "Against the Sewerage Loan," and shall make out
under their hands and attested by the Clerks of Election re-
turns of the votes cast for and against said Sewerage Loan
as appearing on said ballot, to the Board of Supervisors of
Elections of Baltimore County, who shall tabulate said returns
and shall make a separate return thereof to be left with the
Clerk of the Circuit Court to be by him recorded among the
Records of the Court, and a certified copy thereof as soon as
filed with him shall be delivered to the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County. Each of said Judges and Clerks of
Election shall before proceeding to act as such make oath or
affirm in due form of law before the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore County that he will faithfully conduct
said election and protect it to the best of his ability against all
frauds and unfairness, and any violation of said oath shall
be deemed a misdemeanor and shall on conviction thereof
subject the offender to a fine of not less than $500 nor more
than $1,000, or to imprisonment for not more than six months
in the House of Correction or the Baltimore County Jail. The
said Judges of Election shall return the ballots to the said
Board of Election Supervisors, who shall preserve the same
for six months and then destroy them; said election shall be
held in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland relating to General Elections in
this State, so far as the same are applicable, and not incon-
sistent with the provisions of this Act; and said Supervisors
