being the proportionate part from September 1st, 1913, to May
1st, 1914, of one-fourth of the money paid by the said Bond &
Gibbons for the said license to sell spirituous and fermented
liquors and lager beer received by the Treasurer of Maryland,
and, on the warrant of the Comptroller, the Treasurer of Mary-
land is hereby further authorized and directed to pay to the
said Bond and Gibbons, the sum of One Hundred Dollars
($100.00), being the proportionate part from September 1st,
1913, to May 1st, 1914, of the Money paid by the said Bond &
Gibbons for the said license to keep an ordinary, and the Comp-
troller is hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrants
for the said sums of Forty-one Dollars and Sixty-seven Cents
($41.67) and One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for the purposes
above provided.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 124.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 82 of
Article 77 of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public Civil Laws of
Maryland, entitled "Public Education," sub-title ''State Nor-
mal Schools," the same being designed to sanction the re-
moval of the Maryland State Normal School from Baltimore
City to Baltimore County, and to remove the limitations on
the salary of the principal of said school.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 82 of Article 77 of Bagby's Annotated Code
of Public Civil Laws of Maryland, entitled "Public Educa-
tion;" sub-title "State Normal Schools," be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows:

82. There shall be located in the vicinity of the City of Bal-
timore, in the City of Frostburg, and near the town of Bowie,
State Normal Schools for the instruction and practice of teach-
ers in the science of education, the art of teaching and the
mode of governing schools; the said schools shall be under the
control of the State Board of Education who shall appoint the
principals, necessary assistants, and all other help.
