PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, GOVERNOR. 1467

14 (Bowie). Road District No. 3 shall be composed of Elec-
tion Districts No. 18 (Seat Pleasant), No. 12 (Oxen Hill),
No. 6 (Spaulding) and that part of No. 15 (Melwood) north
of the State road loading from Marlboro, to Washington. Road
District No. 4 shall be composed of Election Districts No. 7
(Queen Anne), No. 3 (Marlboro) and that part of No. 15 (Mel-
wood) south of the State road leading from Marlboro to Wash-
ington. Road District No. 5 shall be composed of Election Dis-
tricts No. 5 (Piscataway), No. 9 (Surrattsville) and that part
of No. 11 (Brandywine) west of the railroad known as the
Popes Creek branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Road Dis-
trict No. 6 shall be composed of Election Districts No. 4 (Nott-
ingham), No. 8 (Aquasco) and that part of No. 11 (Brandy-
wine) east of the Popes Creek branch of the Pennsylvania
Railroad.

The present road equipment of the County shall be divided
as equally as possible by the Board of Road Directors into six
parts, each of which parts shall be exclusively used in one of
the above named Road Districts, unless otherwise transferred
for emergency work.

SEC. 282. The. following persons are hereby named as Road
Directors to have charge of the working of the roads in the
several Road Districts of Prince George's County until the first
Monday in March, 1918.

First Road District, John D. Smith.

Second Road District, William W. Brady.

Third Road District, Benjamin E. Randall.

Fourth Road District, Herbert M. Hardy.

Fifth Road District, Richard B. Edelen.

Sixth Road District, William S. Chichester.

Each of said Road Directors herein named and those here-
after to be elected, under the provisions of this Act, shall be
removable by the Board of County Commissioners for incom-
petency, neglect of duty, misconduct or malfeasance in office,
after charges preferred due notice and public hearing. If any
Road Director shall be dissatisfied with the action of the Board
of County Comissioners in removing him, Le may appeal to
the Circuit Court for Prince George's County within ten (10)
clays from the date of his said removal; such appeal shall be
in the nature of a proceeding by way of certiorari and shall be
determined by said Court as spedily as possible after hearing
the same.
