1466 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

The Board of Road Directors shall appoint a Clerk and
Secretary to said Board, who shall attend their meetings, act
as Secretary therein, take charge of and file any papers in
connection therewith and who shall keep the account of the
Road Fund of Prince George's County in accordance with a
system of accounting to be adopted by the Board of County
Commissioners of Prince George's County, which system of
accounting shall show in detail the disposition of said Road
Fund, the amount expended generally and the amount expended
in each Road District and in each Election District of each
Road District. Said Clerk shall prepare annually each year
a statement showing the receipt and expenditure of said Road
Fund, which statement shall be published in at least two news-
papers in said County in the month of December in each and
every year by the Board of County Commissioners.

SEC. 280. The Board of County Commissioners shall have
the charge and custody of the Road Fund of Prince George's
County as hereinafter provided for and after apportioning the
same and paying the fixed charges including the sum of $100.00,
to their Attorney for legal advice in connection therewith and
such other sums as may be proper to be paid out of the entire
amount of said fund as provided for by this Act, they shall
pay out the amounts apportioned to the several Road Districts
and Election Districts thereof upon warrants from the respect-
ive Road Directors in charge thereof for labor, materials, prov-
ender, equipment, etc., used or to be used in such Districts under
the provisions of this Act: And each of said warrants shall be
in a form prescribed by the Board of County Commissioners,
shall show in detail the purposes for which the payment is to
be made and the Election District or Districts and the Road
District to which such payment is to be charged.

It is the intention of this Act that the Board of County Com-
missioners shall have in their office, open to the reasonable in-
spection of the public at any time, a full and complete record
of the amount of the Road Fund and the proper disbursal
thereof.

SEC. 281. Prince George's County for the purpose of this
Act is divided into six (6) Road Districts. Road District No. 1
shall be composed of Election Districts No. 10 (Laurel), No. 1
(Vansville), No. 17 (Chillum), and No. 16 (Hyattsville).
Road District No. 2 shall be composed of Election Districts
No. 2 (Bladensburg), No. 19 (Riverdale), No. 13 (Kent), No.
