equal to that of the bond reissued as well as the costs of the
suit.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Worcester County shall annually levy the year
preceding at the regular levy upon the assessable property of
said County a tax sufficient to pay the interest due on said bonds
as shall be issued under the provisions of this Act and in the
year preceding the maturity of each and every of said bonds they
shall require such additional sum as may be necessary to meet
and pay the said bond or bonds maturing in the succeeding year
so as to have available sufficient funds with which to meet said
bonds and interest as they mature; and the said bonds issued
shall be exempt from all State, County and Municipal taxation
and the interest coupons shall be receivable when due in payment
of County taxes.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the said bonds au-
thorized to be issued by this Act shall be sold by the said
County Commissioners of Worcester County from time to time
as aforesaid for the best price obtainable but not for less than
the par value thereof and any accrued interest thereon, either at
public or private sale at such time within the limits aforesaid
and upon such notice as said County Commissioners may deem
expedient; and the money arising from the sale of said bonds
shall be deposited in the First National Bank of Snow Hill,
Maryland, and kept as a separate fund for the purposes of this
Act, and the County Treasurer or the Clerk of the County Com-
missioners aforesaid shall keep a full registry of said bonds with
the names of the purchasers and the amount realized on the sale
thereof and the date of issue, the date of sale and the date of the
maturity of the said bonds; and when redemed the said bonds
shall at once be cancelled as hereinbefore provided and the can-
cellation shall be entered on the registry book aforesaid as
well as on the record of proceedings of said County Commis-
sioners and shall not again be issued.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
