a total length of five thousand eight hundred and fifteen and
eight-tenths feet; thence by an angle of deflection of ninety four
degrees eighteen minutes to the left and by and with the last
above mentioned B. O. T. L. line of Frederick City and a
tangent of two thousand eight hundred and eleven and eight-
tenths feet to a planted stone, said stone being a corner of the
lands of the Hon. John C. Motter, and at the point of inter-
section of his lands with the lands of the Frederick City Manu-
facturing and Development Company's northwest addition to
Frederick; thence with an angle of sixty-six degrees ten minutes
to the right and with a tangent of two thousand and fifty-one
and eight-tenths feet to the first place of beginning. The Mayor
and Aldermen of Frederick shall have full power and authority
to assess, levy and collect within said limits, as the same are
extended by this Act, any and all taxes whatsoever which they
were authorized to assess, levy and collect, within the taxable
limits as heretofore existing; provided, however, that all lands,
contained within the limits described in this Act, which are now
used exclusively for agricultural purposes, shall be exempt
from assessment and taxation by the Mayor and Aldermen of
Frederick, so long as they are used exclusively for agricultural
purposes, or until they become liable to assessment and taxation
as hereinafter provided; whenever any land now used exclusive-
ly for agricultural purposes, which is included within the tax-
able limits of the City as prescribed by this Act, shall be laid off
into building lots, then all such lots so laid off shall be liable to
assessment and taxation, and whenever any street or highway is
opened through or abutting such land, either by the Mayor and
Aldermen of Frederick, or by any individual, firm or corpora-
tion, or where any street or highway has heretofore been opened
through or abutting any such land, whether said street or high-
way be owned by the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick, or by
any individual, firm or corporation, then all such lands within
two hundred feet from each side of any such street or highway
shall be liable to assessment and taxation.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.
