of voters in the said City. The Registrars so appointed shall
qualify within, five days after their appointment and shall, be-
for entering upon the discharge of their duties, make oath in
due form of law before some Justice of the Peace of Wicomico
County that they, severally, will fairly, faithfully and honestly
perform their duties as such Registrars. And, on the failure
of any such Registrar to serve or qualify, the Mayor shall ap-
point some other person duly qualified as substitute, and such
substitute, after having taken the oath aforesaid, shall hold
the office f or the unexpired term.

(c) It shall be the duty of the Mayor and Council of Salis-
bury, to furnish the Registrars with a suitable book in which to
register voters according to the provisions of this Act and to
appoint and supply a place where said Registrars shall sit in
the discharge of their duties.

(d) The Registrars shall give at least two weeks' notice,
in two or more papers published in the City of Salisbury, of the
time, as hereinafter specified, and place of the sitting of the
Registrars for the purpose of registration.

(e) There shall be a registration of the qualified voters of
Salisbury on the last Monday in March and on the first Monday
in April of each year, at which times the said Registrars shall
sit for the performance of their duties. If necessary for the
performance of their duties or for the convenience of the citi-
zens of the said City of Salisbury, the Mayor may appoint
another day or other days for such sitting of Registrars.

(f) The said Registrars shall, at their sittings:
i. Record upon the registration books the names of all per-
sons who are qualified voters of the said City under the pro-
visions of this Act and whose names are not recorded in said
book, together with such information as the Council of Salis-
bury may from time to time by ordinance require to be re-
corded; and

ii. Strike from the said books the names of all deceased
persons, and of all persons who shall have removed from the
corporate limits of the said City and remained absent for a
period of six consecutive months and taken up their residence
elsewhere.

(g) When the Registrars shall complete their duties they
shall return the register book to the Clerk of the Mayor and
Council of Salisbury.

(h) If anyone shall feel aggrieved by the action of the Reg-
istrars in refusing to register or strike off the name of any
