100 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

take full stenographic notes of all oral testimony and judicial
opinions orally delivered at the terms of said court, and tran-
scribe and typewrite the same when required: and also to take
full stenographic notes of all testimony given in equity causes
before any of the standing examiners for said court, and to
transcribe and typewrite said notes to be filed in said cause:
and he or she shall also perform such other duties as steno-
grapher and typist in connection with the proceedings and
business of said court as may be directed by a Judge thereof,
and particularly it shall be his or her duty to render services as
stenographer and typist to the Grand Jury for said court
whenever called upon: and it shall also be his or her duty to
furnish, upon request, to any party to any proceedings as afore-
said, Grand Jury proceedings, of course, excepted, a typewrit-
ten copy of the notes of testimony and judicial opinions taken
by him or her, or of such part thereof as may be required on
payment by the party applying for the expense of such copy
at the rate of five cents for every page.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 78.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 723 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland passed at the
January Session in the year 1912, entitled "An Act to repeal
Chapter 505 of the Laws of 1900, and Chapter 189 of the Laws
of 1904, in so far as the same refer to and affect the town of
Trappe, Talbot County, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments. ''

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 723 of the Acts passed at the January ses-
sion in the year 1912 entitled "An Act to repeal Chapter 505
of the Laws of 1900, and Chapter 189 of the Laws of 1904, in so
far as the "same refer to and affect the town of Trappe, Talbot
County, and to re-enact the same with amendments," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Talbot County shall pay, annually, to the Commissioners of
