CHAPTER 91.

AN ACT for the relief of Eliza Jane Bassford,
by extending her term of instruction in the
Maryland Institution for the Instruction of the
Blind.
|

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the term of instruction of Eliza
Jane Bassford, of Anne Arundel county, an in-
mate of the Maryland Institution for the Instruc-
tion of the Blind, be and the same is hereby ex-
tended for the term of two years from the time
when her present term of instruction shall expire,
and the Governor shall direct the Comptroller to
draw upon the Treasurer, his warrant for the sum
of two hundred dollars per annum, for her support
in the said Institution, in the same manner as if
she was recommended to the Governor by the
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel county.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

AN ACT for the relief of Robert Thompson,
James R. Thompson and Ford Combs.
|

adjust ac-
counts for the
year 1861.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he is
hereby authorized and empowered to adjust the
accounts of the State of Maryland against Robert
Thompson and James R. Thompson, sureties for
E. T. Abell, deceased, late collector of State taxes
in the second district of Saint Mary's county, for
the year eighteen hundred and fifty-one, and to
allow as credits all sums of money for which the
State's Attorney may have receipted.
