Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this, act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 62.

 

AN ACT to fix the number of County Commis-
sioners for Frederick county, to make valid their
acts, to repeal the forty-fifth section of the elev-
enth Article of the Code of Public Local Laws,
relating to advertising by said County Commis-
sioners, and to provide for the mode of advertis-
ing by said county commissioners for Frederick
county.

Passed Dec.
19, 1861.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That there shall be five County Com-
missioners for Frederick county.

Five Com-
missioners.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all the acts,
doings and proceedings of said County Commis-
sioners since the adoption of the Code of Public
Local Laws, shall be as valid and effectual in the
courts of law and equity in this State, and to all
intents and purposes, as if the number of the said
County Commissioners had been fixed by the Code
of Public Local Laws, when the said Code was
adopted by the General Assembly of this State.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the forty-fifth
section of the eleventh Article of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, relating to advertising by the
County Commissioners for Frederick county, be

and the same is hereby repealed, and that said
County Commissioners shall be and they are hereby
authorized to have all their printing and advertis-
ing done by such newspapers and in such manner
as shall, in their judgment, be most conducive to
the interest of the county.
