AN ACT to change the name of William Perry
Brinning to that of William Perry Boward.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of William Perry
Brinning, of Hagerstown, Washington county,
Maryland, be and the same is hereby changed to
that of William Perry Boward.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the passage thereof.

CHAPTER 46.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
repairs of the Government House, and for the
purchase of furniture therefor.
|

22, 1862.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of four thousand dol-
lars be and the same is hereby appropriated for the
repair of the Government House, and for the pur-
chase of furniture therefor.
|

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Governor
be and he is hereby authorized to have the Gov-
ernment House repaired in such manner and of
such material as will in his opinion be most desira-
ble and economical, and also to purchase such fur-
niture therefor as he may deem necessary for com-
fort and convenience, and to draw upon the Trea-
surer, upon the warrant of the Comptroller, who
is hereby directed to issue the same, for the said
sum of four thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be required for said purposes.
