AN ACT to authorize the State Treasurer, upon
the warrant of the Comptroller, to pay over to
John G. O'Hara, Thomas B. Billingsley, T. J.
Huntt, R. G. Huntt, M. C. Griffith, W. A.
Orme, Louis A. Carl, James V. Criswell, Wil-
liam Bigham, J. E. Huntt and John M. Frazier
the arrears of their salaries as clerks in the sev-
eral Tobacco Warehouses of the city of Balti-
more.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Trea-
sury be and he is hereby directed to issue his
warrant for the payment of one hundred and sev-
enty-eight dollars, claimed to be due to John G.
O'Hara, Thomas B. Billingsley, T. J. Huntt, R.
G. Huntt, M. C. Griffith, W. A. Orme, Louis A.
Carl and James V. Criswell, each; one hundred and
fifty dollars claimed to be due to William Bigham,
J. E. Huntt and John M. Frazier, each, for their
salaries as clerks in the several Tobacco Ware-
houses of the city of Baltimore.

Adjustment
of claims.

Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That if upon an ex-
amination of the accounts of the said parties, the
Comptroller shall find any sums to be due to them
as and for their salaries less than the said sums
claimed to be due, then the said Comptroller shall
issue his said warrants for such less sums .

Treasurer

Sec. 3. Be it enacted, That the Treasurer upon
the receipt of the warrants of the Comptroller in
favor of said parties be and he is hereby directed to
pay the same.

In force.

Sec. 4. Be it enacted, That this act shall be in
force from its passage.
