263. An act to compensate Doctor Dennis Claude, for per-
forming the duties of Comptroller of the Treasury, under the
appointment of the Governor, from the twenty-second day of
July, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, to the eighth day of
October, in the same year.

264. An act to amend the thirteenth Article of the Code
of Public Local Laws, relating to Howard county, by adding
thereto the following sections, relating to the duties and pay
of the Sheriff of said county.

265. An act to amend the seventy-second section of Article
fifth of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Calvert
county, regulating the compensation of the Sheriff, for keep-
ing and boarding prisoners in Jail.

266. An act to promote the more general diffusion of in-
formation respecting the proceedings of the County Com-
missioners of Worcester county, the Trustees of the Poor,
and the Board of Primary Education of said county.

267. An act to add new sections to Article five of the Code
of Public Local Laws for Calvert county, for the settlement
of disputes growing out of joint division fences, and the tres-
passing of stock in said county.

268. An act amendatory of the act passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and forty-six, chapter two hundred
and thirty-four, entitled, a supplement to an act concerning
the Annapolis and Elkridge Railroad Company, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and forty-one, chapter
one hundred and sixty-eight.

269. An act to amend the two hundred and sixty-eighth
section of the ninety-third Article of the Code of Public
General Laws, relating to the accounts and payments into
the Treasury of Registers of Wills.

270. An act making appropriations for the support of the
Government, for the year ending on the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and sixty-three.

271. An act to extend the charter of the Washington
County Bank, at Williamsport, Washington county, and its
several supplements, and the act authorizing said Bank to
establish an office of Discount and Deposit, in Hagerstown,
in said county.

272. An act to authorize the Hagerstown Female Semi-
nary to raise money to pay off its debt, and in further amend-
ment of its charter, passed at January session, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-two, chapter one hundred and seventy-five.

273. An act to incorporate the Elkridge Landing Bridge
Company.
