274. An act to incorporate the Farmers and Merchants
Bank of Cecil County.

275. An act to repeal sections eighty, eighty-two, eighty-
five, ninety-three and ninety-five of the Code of Public Local
Laws, of Article fifteen, relating to Schools in Montgomery
county, and to substitute therefor the following sections, and
add thereto an additional section.

276. An act for the relief of the families of the Maryland
Volunteers.

277. An act to repeal sections two hundred and fifty-six,
two hundred and sixty-two, two hundred and seventy-three
and two hundred and seventy-six of Article twenty-one of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Public Schools in
Washington county.

278. An act to incorporate the Baltimore Gymnasium.

279. An act to repeal sections thirty-four, thirty-five, thirty-
seven, thirty-nine, fifty-eight and sixty-one of Article four of
the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the Almshouse of
Baltimore city, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

tions, imposing a tax on the commissions of certain officers.

and substitute and add the following section.

287. An act to authorize the County Commissioners of Alle-
gany county to levy one hundred and forty-three dollars for
Henry R. Atkinson, of Allegany County, balance of jail fees,
for commitments of one hundred and forty-three prisoners to
the jail of Allegany county, during his sheriffalty.
