TITLES OF THE LAWS. 507

129. An act to amend Article fifty-four of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, so as to define and protect the rights of
owners of lands bounding on the navigable waters of this
State, and to prohibit the issuing of patents for lands covered
by navigable waters.

130. An act to authorize the Court of Appeals to hear, at
the December term of the year eighteen hundred and sixty-
one, certain appeals in cases of petitions for writs of mandamus
for and in relation to the widening and opening of Holliday
street in Baltimore city.

131. An act to repeal sections eight hundred and six, eight
hundred and seven, eight hundred and nine, eight hundred
and ten, eight hundred and eleven, eight hundred and fifteen
and eight hundred and twenty-one of Article fourth of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Baltimore, and the
organization of a Board of Police therefor, and to re-enact
the same with amendments thereto.

132. An act to allow John J. Ogden, late Sheriff of Calvert
county, further time to complete his collections.

133. An act to amend section sixty-two of Article eighty-
one of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the re-
demption of real estate sold for taxes.

134. An act for the relief of Harriet Nelson, of Worcester
county.

135. An act to add a new section to Article nine of the Code
of Public Local Laws for Charles county, to regulate the rate
of Constables' fees in said county.

136. An act to amend the forty-eighth section of Article
fifteen of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery
county, by prohibiting the sale of ardent spirits within two
and a half miles of Sandy Spring, in said county.

137. An act to amend sections fifty-eight, sixty-one, sixty-
two, sixty-eight and sixty-nine of Article five of the Code of
Public Local Laws for Calvert county, relating to the Public
Schools of said county.

138. An act to authorize and empower the several banks of
this State to issue small notes, and to extend the provisions
thereof to the Fells' Point Bank, and to give indemnity to the
several banks against the issues of small notes now put in
circulation by them.

139. An act to authorize Ebenezer L. Wailes to settle his
account as guardian to Charles A. Wailes, and to deliver over
