506 TITLES OF THE LAWS.

and thirty-nine, one hundred and forty and one hundred and
forty-one, of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore county, in
relation to the Orphans' Court, and enact the following as a
substitute.

119. An act to amend the seventieth section of the fifty-
sixth Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
licenses for ordinaries.

120. An act to amend the twenty-second Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, relating to Comptroller, by adding
thereto the following section, relating to issuing forms of pro-
test to Notaries Public.

121. An act to amend the fifty-sixth Article of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to licenses, by adding thereto
the following section relating to partnerships taking out
licenses.

122. An act to add a new section to the twenty-ninth Arti-
cle of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to courts,
authorizing the Court of Appeals to order the production of
original papers to be used on the hearing of appeals in certain
cases.

123. An act to carry into effect the bequest of freedom to
certain slaves made by the last will and testament of John
Randall, late of the city of Annapolis, deceased, by authoriz-
ing his widow, executrix, and residuary legatee to manumit
said slaves.

124. An act to alter and change the name of Thomas Pratt
Wright, of Somerset county, to that of Thomas Hicks Wright.

125. An act to make valid a deed from George W. Pem-
broke, executor of George Beal to John H. Tucker.

126. An act to alter and change the time of holding the
annual election for officers of the Conowingo Bridge Company
in Harford and Cecil counties.

127. An act to change the name of Fells Point Lodge,
number forty-four, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows,
to that of Thomas Wildy Lodge, number forty-four, of the
Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

128. An act to amend section thirty-seven of Article sixty-
six of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled, "Negroes,"
relating to the escape of slaves by their being transported on
railroads, steamboats and other vessels.
