SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the deed executed by William
D. Cropper and Rebecca W. Cropper, his wife, of
Accomac county, Virginia, on the twenty-eighth
day of September, in the year one thousand eight
hundred and sixty, to Thomas W. Holbrook, of
Somerset county, be and the same is hereby made
valid to all intents and purposes, as if attested as
now prescribed by law, and that it shall be lawful
for the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset
county to receive and record the same.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to aid
the Union Relief Association of Baltimore.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant on the Treasurer, for
the sum of five thousand dollars, payable to the
order of the Treasurer of the Union Relief Asso-
ciation of Baltimore.
