AN ACT to amend the fifteen section of Article
ninety of the Code of Public General Laws, re-
lating to Supervisors of Roads.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section fifteen of Article ninety of the
Code of Public General Laws, relating to Super-
visors of Roads, be and the same is hereby repealed
and the following enacted as a substitute therefor:

Sec. 15. Every Supervisor shall be liable to be
presented by the Grand Jury of his county, for
any neglect of duty or malfeasance in office, and
shall upon conviction thereof before the Circuit
Court of his county, be fined in each case not less

than five or more than twenty-five dollars in the
discretion of the Court ; provided, that the Road
Supervisors in those counties, where the County
Commissioners make the appropriation and levy
forrroads in advance of the expenditure by the Su-
pervisors shall not be required or authorized to
expend in the repair of roads within their respec-
tive districts, a larger sum per mile than shall
have been levied by the County Commissioners for
that purpose.

And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to allow Robert Bell, late Sheriff and
Collector of State and county taxes for Dorches-
ter county, further time to complete his collec-
tions.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Robert Bell, late Sheriff and
Collector of State and county taxes for Dorches-
ter county, be and he is hereby allowed until the
