SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the acknowledgment of the
deed, made by Abraham Isenhart and Barbara, his
wife, to John Frenear, before E. J. Blackman, a
Justice of the Peace of Cedar county, in the State
of Iowa, bearing date upon the third day of Sep-
tember, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, and re-
corded upon the seventeenth day of September,
eighteen hundred and sixty-two, in Liber H. R,
number twenty, folio three hundred and thirty-one,
one of the land records of Allegany county, be as
valid and effectual in law as if the said acknow-
ledgment had been made before an officer author-
ized by law to take such acknowledgment, and
that said deed be as valid in law as if the same
had been executed before and attested by a witness.
