Levy to be
made.
|
Sec. 3. Be it further enacted, That the Board of
Colin ty Commissioners for Washington county be
and they are hereby empowered, directed and re-
quired to levy a sum of money at their next annual
levy sufficient to pay and defray all expenses, costs
and charges incurred in the purchase of said books,
and in the transcribing therein such, indexes or
records, to be paid to the said Register of Wills
upon the completion of the work and business
hereinbefore directed to be done.

AN ACT for the relief of Charles Shipley.
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, by an act passed by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, at the Session of eighteen
hundred and fifty-two, chapter one hundred and
seventy-one, entitled, an act directing and autho-
rizing commissioners therein named to lay out the
western liberties of Baltimore county; and where-
as, Charles Shipley, one of said commissioners
named in said act, has been compelled to pay out
of his own private funds, as per vouchers set forth,
the sum of two hundred and sixty-three dollars
and twenty-five cents: Therefore,

to pay.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Baltimore county be and they are hereby autho-
rized and directed to pay said Shipley the afore-
said sum of two hundred and sixty-three dollars
and twenty-five cents, and to make sufficient levy
upon the assessable property of Baltimore county,
at its next levy, to reimburse said amount.

deliver over.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That said Shipley be
and he is hereby directed to deliver over to the
order of the Commissioners of Baltimore county
the one hundred boundary stones prepared for said
libertiee, for the use and benefit of said county.
