Sec. 3. Be it enacted. That this act shall take
effect from the date - of its passage.

CHAPTER 58.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
of Baltimore county to levy a sum of money
which in their judgment rnay be necessary or
or ought justly to be paid to Jacob M. Sham-
berger and others, so expended by him or them,
in the opening of a. public county road in the
Sixth Election District of Baltimore county.

25, 1864.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Baltimore county are hereby authorized and em-
powered to adjust the claims of Jacob M. Sham-
berger and others, and pay all reasonable expense
for opening said road; when thus ascertained the
said commissioners shall levy on the assessable
property of Baltimore county, at the next general
levy, the amount thus agreed.
