Public Local Laws the following sections: to confirm, ratify
and legalize an ordinance, and the various supplements there-
to entitled, "an ordinance to encourage the enlistments of vol-
unteers in the several regiments now being raised by the late
order of the War Department, and to make an appropriation
as a bounty to such volunteers as may be mustered into the
service of the United States in any of the said regiments
raised in the city of Baltimore;" approved August 9th, 1862.
No. 154. An act to repeal sections one hundred and nine-
teen and one hundred and twenty of Article four of the Code
of Pubiic Local Laws, relating to Auctioneers, and to enact a
substitute therefor.
No. 155. An act to appropriate a sum of money to pay to
D. C. Thompson, Collector for the Administratrix of William
A. Spencer, Esq., deceased, late Clerk of the Court of Appeals
of Maryland, the amount due to said deceased by the State,
for fees in State cases in said Court.
No. 156. An Act to amend the twentieth section of Article
five of the Code of Public General Laws entitled, Appeals,
and to provide for Appeals .from Court of Equity.
No. 157. An act to add a section to Article ninety-three of
the Code of Public General Laws entitled, "Testamentary
Law," to be numbered three hundred and twenty-nine, relat-
ing to the receipt and custody by the Register of Wills, of the
Wills of living persons.
No. 158. An act to repeal the two hundred and ninety-
second section of the twenty-first Article of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, relating to the Sheriff of Washington county,
and to re-enact the same with amendments thereto.
No. 159. An act to make valid the proceedings of County
Commissioners in borrowing money heretofore to pay bounties
and empowering them to levy taxes therefor.
No. 160. An act to allow John M. Viers, late collector of
taxes in the third Collection District of Montgomery county,
further time to complete his collections.
No. 161. An act to incorporate a Company to establish a
Public Cemetery at Westminster, Carroll county, and to re-
vive and connect therewith the Charter of the Westminster
General Meeting House and Burying Ground.
No. 162. An act to allow additional compensation to the
Sheriff of Harford county.
