fifteen, chapter forty-eight, incorporating the Baltimore and
Harford Turnpike Company.

No. 134. An act to allow Thomas J. Hutchens, late Sheriff
of Calvert county, further time to complete his collections.

No. 135. An act to add a new section to Article seventeen
of the Code of Public Local Laws entitled, Queen Ann's
county, defining the jurisdiction of Justices of the Peace.

No. 136. An act to incorporate the President and Direc-
tors of the Baltimore and Pikesville Railroad Company of
Maryland.

No. 137. An act to amend and re-enact section twenty-five
of the thirty-eighth Article of the Code of Public General
Laws entitled, "Fees of Officers," and relating to the fees of
Notaries Public.

No. 138. An act to provide for the restoration of the re-
cords and papers destroyed or injured by fire in the office of
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Baltimore county.

No. 139. An act to refund to Stephen R. Gore, late Collec-
tor of Taxes for Carroll county, a sum of money erroneously
paid by him iuto the Treasury of the State.

No. 140. An act to incorporate "The Elkton Gas Light
Company," at Elkton, Cecil county, Maryland.

No. 141. An act to amend the act to incorporate the Green
Spring Avenue Company, passed at January session, eighteen
hundred and fifty-eight, chapter two hundred and sixteen,
and the act amendatory thereof, passed at January session,
eighteen hundred and sixty, chapter one hundred and sixty-
four, and to carry out the provisions of an agreement made
between the said Company and the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore.

No. 142. An act to require the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Frederick county to make and prepare a General Index to
the Land Records of said county during the term of Benja-
min G. Fitzhugh, Clerk, and to require said Clerk and his
successors in office to continue said index during their re-
spective terms.

No. 143. An act to make valid the acknowledgment of a
deed from Daniel A. Leatherman and Margaret, his wife, to
Charles Broadwaters, of William.
