No. 44. A supplement to the act entitled, an act to incor-
porate the Frederick and Emmettsburg Turnpike Company,
passed at December session eighteen hundred and forty-four,
chapter one hundred and thirty-six.

No. 45. An act appropriating a sum of money to pay John
M. Carter for extra clerical services in the Executive Depart-
menk connected directly with the Adjutant General's Depart-
ment of the State.

No. 46. An act to incorporate the Miles River Wharf Com-
pany at Miles River Ferry, in Talbot county.

No. 47. An act to change the place of holding the elec-
tions in the Third Election District of Baltimore county.

No. 48. An act to authorize and require the Comptroller
to draw a warrant upon the Treasurer of Maryland to pay
William W. Johnson, the sum of one hundred and eighty-
nine dollars, balance due on over-payment made to Thomas
Sudler, Sheriff of Somerset county, on State and County Tax
for eighteen hundred and fifty-nine and eighteen hundred
and sixty.

No. 49. An act to regulate the issue of writs of Execution
in the Courts of Baltimore city and to add the following sec-
tion to the fourth Article of Local Laws providing therefor.

No. 50. An act to add an additional section to the thirtieth
Article of the Code of Public General Laws regulating the
punishment of petty Larceny in Baltimore city.

No. 51. An act to incorporate the Woodsboro' and Pipe
Creek Turnpike Company.

No. 52. An act to authorize the opening of a Road in Car-
roll and Howard counties.

No. 53. An act to confirm the purchase of the Rail Road
of the George's Creek Coal and Iron Company, by the Cum-
berland and Pennsylvania Rail Road Company and to author-
ize said Company to increase its capital stock.

No. 54. An act to refund Charles Shipley, taxes erroneous-
ly paid.

No. 55. An act to authorize the repair or rebuilding of the
County Jail of Prince George's county.
