holders at large, at the annual meeting in Match,
for the election of President, Directors and officers,
provided by the third section of this act, at which
meeting a full and detailed statement of the
finances of said company shall be exhibited which
shall be submitted to the examination of a com-
mittee of the stockholders, whose report and the
action of the meeting thereon, shall be recorded in
a book to be provided for that purpose, and pub-
lished once in some newspaper or newspapers is-
sued in one or both of the two counties named in
this act.

Authorized
to proceed with
construction.

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That so soon, and as
fast, as the said company shall receive the remain-
ing subscriptions of seven hundred and fifty shares
of stock, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
they are hereby authorized to proceed with the
construction of said turnpike road beyond the
point named in the sixth section of this act, to the
completion of said turnpike road, on the line, de-
signated by the first section of the act, to Union
bridge, in Carroll county, or so much of the same as
the said company shall be able to construct out of
the capital stock subscribed and paid in, or which
may be raised by other and lawful means, and
conformable in all respects to the terms, conditions
and requirements in this act contained and ex-
pressed.

Supervision
of road.

See. 11. And be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Frederick county shall continue
to supervise the said road and continue the allow-
ance now made for the repair of the same until the
turnpike road hereby authorized hag been con-
structed, as herein required, to the bridge across
Pipe creek, at the dividing line between Frederick
and Carroll counties.

Extension of
road.

Sec. 12. And be it enacted. That in case said
company, in the extension of the said turnpike
road, from the bridge across Little Pipe creek, on
the dividing line between Frederick and Carroll
counties, to Union bridge, in Carroll county,
should determine to locate and build said turnpike
road over all or any part of the county road lead-
ing from the bridge on Little Pipe creek to Union
bridge, the County Commissioners of Carroll
county shall continue to supervise the raid road,
