gerstown as the President of the Board of Trus-
tees, for the time being, shall appoint, of which
time and place of election he shall give one month
notice, in one Newspaper published in Hagerstown;
and such seven Trustees, elected at the time and
in the manner above directed, and their successors
annually so elected shall have all the powers, per-
form all duties, and enjoy all the rights and im-
munities, which were given and granted by the
original act of incorporation, passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and ten, chapter fifty-
five, and the several supplements thereto.

Repealed.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That so much of the
seventh section of said original act as required no-
tice for the election of Trustees, to be published in
all the newspapers of Hagerstown, be so modified
and repealed that notice in one newspaper shall be
sufficient.

In force.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT supplementary to an act passed at De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and forty-six,
chapter three hundred and forty-seven, entitled,
"A supplement to an act entitled an act for the
relief of Passmore M'Cullough, of Anne Arun-
del county," passed at December session, eigh-
teen hundred and forty-three, chapter one hun-
dred and eighty-eight.

Certificates of
interest to be
issued.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That in addition to the certificates
of indebtedness heretofore issued by the Treasurer
of the State, under the authority, of the act to
which this is supplementary, for the amount of the
principal of the award mentioned in the fifth sec-
tion of said act, the said Treasurer shall be and he
