AN ACT supplemental to the act entitled, "An
act to incorporate the Baltimore and Liberty
Turnpike Company," an amendatory of the act
entitled, ''An act incorporating a company to
make the Bloomingdale Turnpike Road on the
bed of the present road leading from the Black-
smith Shop of John Slack, on the Franklin
Turnpike Road, in Baltimore county, to inter-
sect the Windsor Mill Road at a point at or
near the city line, and running theuce on the
bed of the Windsor Mill Road to a point known
as Wells' Corner.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That so much of the third section
of the act entitled, "An act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Company, as
limits the capital stock of the Baltimore and Lib-
erty Turnpike Company to thirty thousand dol-
lars," be and the same is hereby repealed, and it
is hereby enacted that the said capital stock shall
not exceed fifty thousand dollars.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Balti-
more and Liberty Turnpike Company be and the
same is authorized and empowered to make a turn-
pike road from the Patapsco Falls, at Beame's
Mills, to the Garrison Forest road, upon the bed
of the Liberty road, with the right and power of
deflecting from or leaving said old road, whether
in whole or in part, at such place or places, and
for such distances as the said company may deem
expedient; and is also authorized to make a turn-
pike road, diverging fiom the turnpike road
aforesaid, at any point westward of the Garrison
Forest road, or at and upon the said Garrison
Forest road, and thenc'e to the western or north-
ern terminus of the Bloomingdale Turnpike Com-
pany's road, at a place known as Wells' Corner,
using and appropriating, in whole or in part, the
bed of the said Garrison Forest road, between
the point aforesaid; and from said Wells' Corner,
