Sec, 2. Be it further enacted, That the Treasu-
rer is further directed to pay upon the warrant of
the Comptroller, the sum of three hundred dollars
to James C. Barry and Samuel E. Hoovgerwerff;
also, the like sum of three hundred dollars to
Joseph R. Snyder; also, the like sum to John
Brannan and Thomas R. Pearson the said sums
of money having been paid erroneously into the
State Treasury by the said parties; six hundred
and fifty dollars, or as much thereof as may be
necessary, to pay the claims of John Kirby &
Sons, F. L. Brauns & Company, Leddon & Ash,
A. Schumaker & Company, N. E. Berry, J. G.
Lautz, and R. B. Porter & Son, against the State
Tobacco Warehouse number two, upon satisfactory
evidence being furnished the Comptroller that
their several accounts are correct and just; to J.
H. Hynes, late Sheriff of Baltimore county, sev-
enty-two dollars and twenty-two cents, for moneys
paid in error.

See. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and alter the date of its passage.
