paid into the Treasury; to pay to, John R. Hood,
former Collector of Taxes in Cecil county, for
order, ninety dollars and ninety cents, for money
paid by him in error into the Treasury; to
pay Z. Bowen, late Sheriff of Calvert .county, or
order, two dollars and seventy cents, for fees due
from the State; to pay James E. Tate, or order,
twenty-five dollars and forty-four cents, for arti-
cles furnished E. M. Shipley, late Librarian; to
pay James G. Reddan, late Sheriff of Caroline
county, or order, thirteen dollars and twenty
cents, for fees due from the State.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate a Company to make a
Turnpike Road in Washington county, to be
styled the Marsh Turnpike Company.
|
Incorporated.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That a company be and the same
is hereby incorporated under the name and style
of the "Marsh Turnpike Company," and by that
name shall have succession and be capable by law
to hold and dispose of real and personal property,
by deed or otherwise, to sue and be sued, plead
and impleaded, answer and defend and he answer-
ed and defended, in Courts of Law or Equity, or
in any other place whatsoever, to make, have and
use a common seal, and the same to change or
renew at pleasure, and generally to do every other
act or thing necessary to carry into effect the pro-
visions of this act, or any of them.

authority is hereby granted to the said Marsh
