the city of Baltimore, be and the same are hereby
repealed, and the following sections enacted in lieu
thereof.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That the fees of the, in-
spectors of Salted Fish in the city of Baltimore,
shall be as follows: for the inspection of each bar-
rel, half barrel, or tierce of shad or mackerel fish,
ten cents; for each barrel, half barrel or tierce of
herring fish, four cents, and for each kitt or quar-
ter of a barrel of shad, mackerel or herring fish
two cents.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the said inspec-
tors shall upon each cask inspected by them mark
with a brand their names, the word Baltimore,
the name of the month and year in which inspec-
ted, and upon each barrel, half barrel, tierce,

quarter of a barrel or kitt of fish the word spring;
provided, they believe the said fish was caught in
the spring of the year in which inspected.

Proviso.
|
Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws inconsistent with this act, be and the game
are hereby repealed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date its passage.

AN ACT to amend Article ninety-four of the
Public General Laws entitled, "Treasurer," by
repealing sections eight and nine of said Arti-
cle, and re-enacting said sections with amend-
ments.
