CHAPTER 368.

AN ACT to amend section four hundred and
ninety-four of Article four of the Code of Public
Local Laws, entitled, City of Baltimore, relating
to the measurement of Oysters.
|
Amended and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section four hundred and ninety-
four of Article four of the Code of Public Local
Laws be amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows: All oysters carried to the city of Balti-
more for sale shall be sold by the sealed half
bushel, or sealed bushel and half measure, and
each and every person offending against the pro-
visions of this section shall be subject to a fine of
fifty dollars for each and every offence, to be re-
covered before a Justice of the Peace of the city of
Baltimore, by action of debt in the name of the
State of Maryland, one-half to the informer, and
the other half to the use of the State.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

to the inspection of Salted Fish, in the City of
