lateral road or road from the main line of their
road to any point on the boundary line between
the States of Maryland and Pennsylvania, west
of the Antietam, in Washington or Allegany
counties.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 367.

 

AN ACT to refund to Julia Gittings, Adminis-
tratrix of Thomas E. Gittings, deceased, certain
taxes erroneously paid.

Passed Mar.
10, 1864.

SECTION 1. B,e it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Baltimore county be and they are hereby ordered
and directed to levy upon the taxable property of
said county, at the next annual levy, the sum of
two hundred and eighty-five dollars and twenty-
two cents for the use of Julia Gittings, Adminis-
tratrix of Thomas E. Gittings, deceased, for taxes

Authorized
to levy.

erroneously collected by said county; provided,
that the said Commissioners are satisfied that such
amount has been erroneously paid.

Proviso.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
