A SUPPLEMENT to an Act entitled, "An act
to incorporate a company to make a turnpike
road from the west end of Uniontown, in Car-
roll county, to the completed terminus of the
Westminster and Hagerstown Turnpike Road,"
passed at January session, eighteen hundred
and sixty, chapter one hundred and sixty-six.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Uniontown Turnpike
Company be and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to contract with the Westminster and
Hagerstown Turnpike Company, upon such terms
as they may deem proper, for the collection, by
the said last mentioned company, at their toll-
gates, of all tolls for passing to and fro over the
road of the said Uniontown Turnpike Company;
and that when said contract is made, and so long
as the same shall continue unrevoked, the said
Westminster and Hagerstown Turnpike Company
shall be fully authorized, at their toll-gates, to
demand of, and collect from all persons passing
over the road of the said Uniontown Turnpike
Company, the same tolls as the said last men-
tioned company are now legally entitled to collect.
