LAWS OF MARYLAND:

James H. Barwick, late Collector of State Taxes
for said county, and his bondsmen, to the use of
James Swan, James Pippin, Jr., William C. Sat-
terfield, Robert Anthony, Elijah Towers, James
T. Richardson and Benjamin A. Richardson.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

 

CHAPTER 301.

8, 1864.

AN ACT for the relief of Thomas J. Hardesty
and J. G. Gover, of Anne Arundel county.

Directed to
issue warrant.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and is here-
by directed to issue his warrant upon the Treasu-
rer, to pay to Thomas J. Hardesty and J. G. Go-
ver, executors of Samuel Gover, deceased, the
sum of thirty-two dollars and thirty-four cents,
for a return of tax upon commissions erroneously
paid to the Register of Wills of Anne Arundel

Proviso.

county for the use of the State of Maryland, and
by him paid into the State Treasury; provided,
that the Comptroller, upon the examination of
their accounts, shall be satisfied that said sum of
money was erroneously paid and ought to be re-
funded.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
